Matt Fazekas is a singer/songwriter living in Boston.
Born and raised on Chicago's infamous South Side, Fazekas' musical stylings are as diverse as the neighborhoods he has resided in. From Boston, to Los Angeles, and now back east again; his experiences wandering the path less traveled have lent themselves to some hilarious anecdotes and heartbreaking lyrics.
While many of his songs are deeply personal, Fazekas maintains an ability to appeal to all; whether it be through a catchy chorus or an unexpected cover song. Mostly self-taught, he enjoys playing a variety of instruments including the guitar, drums, bass, piano, violin, ukulele, and the harmonica. Over the years, this songwriter has created a catalog of over fifty original songs and is consistently working on the next. Armed with a gritty voice, substantial lyrics, and an acoustic guitar; Fazekas turns pure emotion into melody.
While music is a big part of his life, Fazekas has decided to create this blog to share his experiences in other aspects as well. Whether he is tending to a garden or tending to a hangover--nothing short of boring will be left out.
